.... I Want To Go With You....

I was a lonely wanderer, searching for a place to belong, you came into my life and gave me love, a place to call home.

Home is where the heart is, it doesn't always have four walls. Sometimes it can be a park bench, a homeless shelter, no matter where we lay our heads we are together and love counts the most.

We had our trials in life, even a few brief spats and separations but you had my heart as no one ever before, we always made up and got back together, loving each other ever the more.

Now you are gone and I can’t be with you for awhile, my aching heart is killing me, I cannot smile. You became sick and wasted away, why oh why did you have to leave me all alone?

I wanted to go with you but I have to wait, wait till my name is called and I hope you come with Jesus to carry me away, this I wait for impatiently each and every day.

... A Sister Is A Sister Always.....

Twenty-nine plus years have come and gone, and now with time to reflect
Knowing the path my sisters chose, for them I have the greatest respect

I chose a different path in my life and for this I don't complain
I've seen the world and enjoyed my experiences for this I'm not ashamed

But , it seems I've really missed so much throughout these many years,
Hugs and kisses, the families touch, the laughter and the tears

Although we've had our separate lives we share a common theme
Sisters are aware of each other's hopes, they cherish each others dreams

As I get older and my life and the time moves by so fast,
I find myself looking at your pictures to remind me of the past

I realize that through the years, of the many friends I've made and left behind
That you my wonderful sisters, you are my best friends, and you've been there all the time.

Let's take this time together, to laugh, to cry, and remember
For we'll always be close as sisters, whether were near or far apart

A friend who helps you through difficult times,
Her comforting words are worth much more than dimes.
A partner who fills your life with laughs and smile,
These memories last for miles and miles.

When she is by your side, the world is filled with life,
When she is not around, your days are full of strife.
A sister is a blessing, who fills your heart with love,
She flies with you in life with the beauty of a dove.

A companion to whom you can express your feelings,
She doesn’t let you get bored at family dealings.
Whether you are having your ups or downs,
She always helps you with a smile and never frowns.

With a sister you cannot have a grudge,
She is as sweet as chocolate and as smooth as fudge.
Having a sister is not just a trend,
It is knowing you can always turn to her, your best friend.

-When We See You Again-

As I sit here and wonder how things would have turned out,
Not to have been part of your life was there ever a doubt.
I would see you again, just didn’t know when.
A long time has passed, wondering how you have been.
Just to see your face one last time is something I never would have thought,
You have been on my mind all this time, something that I had always and never forgot.
The lessons that I learned from you, made each day more pleasant,
Your teachings of everyday life were such a warm and needed present.
I leave you now knowing you are safe in his arms,
No more pain or suffering, away from all harm.
Rest with the angels, until we all will see you once more.
We love and have missed you, things we will always adore.
Watch over us now, for one day it will come.
When we are laughing and talking and having oh so much fun.
We miss you mom, but we are glad that you made it home.
We wouldn’t have wanted it any other way even if it meant for us to be alone.
